New way to move around in a loan file called "Navigation Bar",
or NavBar for short. The NavBar is an Outlook-styled way to group the sections
of your loan data -- Application Data, Approval & Closing, Printing, etc.
To switch to the NavBar view, simply change your desktop preference in the
droplist to the left of the [ESC Exit Loan] button after you have opened a loan
file. If you prefer to keep the old look and feel, you may change it back to
Basic App or Full 1003 for the original Desktop Cockpit Buttons. Another
feature included with the NavBar enhancement is WideNavBar for Wide Screen
(Wide Aspect Ratio) displays. If you have a Wide display, you may prefer to
choose the WideNavBar view which will stretch your Loan Energizer desktop out
wider and place the screens to the right of the navigation bar. In this mode,
simply clicking on a different screen in the NavBar will automatically save the
changes to the screen you were on and close it for you making it even faster to
jump around in the loan file. The preference of view style (Basic, Full, NavBar
and WideNavBar) is saved for each user by their login code. This way, each user
can personalize their view to what they like.
Automated logic system called RESPA Package has been
implemented, to generate a "rules list" of rules to process when building a
RESPA package for printing. Check with Sales for more information on this
package.
Transunion changed the "case" of one of their score models from
"BEACON" (all uppercase_ to Beacon" causing Loan Energizer to overlook the
value. This has been corrected.

New feature: Single User Mode. This allows you to put a
limitation on the system to only allow one user to edit a lona file at a given
time. With this feature enabled, once a loan file is open, additional users may
only open the loan in read-only mode.
RESPA kit modified to use uppercase name searches when
performing receipt updates.

Added Bankers Systems Inc. PDF styled documents into the
printing subsystem, for those clients registered with BSI.
Corrected issue with HELOC Payment calculation (when using % of
Loan Amount field). Previously would only accept entries less than 1% (i.e.
0.01 - 0.99). Now accepts values from 0.001 - 9.999 so those wishing to use 1%
may enter 1.0%.

Corrected bug in Print screens. When a user's access has been
reduced to READ ONLY (based on Loan's current status), yet they have been given
full rights to Print Docs in Read Only mode (user-level access setting), they
were still unable to click MORE DOCS, Email, and Print Setup buttons. This has
been corrected.
Corrected error when printing if the 1008 Contact (chosen in the
Misc 1008 screen) was set to anything other than Loan Officer, Processor or
Underwriter. Choosing any of the custom contacts names would produce an error
in the print screens. This has been corrected.
Added new custom feature for Lendmark to export GL account
information during Interlinq updates.
Corrected RESPA Docs error: If a loan item was empty, the rules
would evaluate the filter to true when it should have failed. This has been
corrected for the 3 "list styled" options: Property State, Occupancy Status,
and ARM Plan.

Distiller Server: Added to defaults the ability to set the
endataw path from Distiller, to be used by the workstations and/or client
sessions when generating the .PS job files. All data will now be generated and
kept on the database server, instead of using the EnTemp\OutBox location as
before. In this manner, the remotely located Distiller Server can always see
not only the job requests, but the work files as well.

Corrected direct reference to table in Contract/License info
screen under General Closing defaults. This direct reference would not have
caused any data issues, rather simply an annoyance.
Added fields for custom export to Interlinq to track the user
and date the data is transferred. This information is added to the transaction
log titled "Interlinq Export". Further, in RepGenII, you may group by the ILQ
Export User, and filter by the ILQ Export Date to obtain a report of any loans
exported in a given date range, grouped by user who did the export.

New FNMA 5 page letter size application form now integrated into
Loan Energizer.

part or all of your search criteria and then a matched list of loans (based on
your entry) will be displayed.

11/21/05 |
Added "Loan Status" to RESPA Rules Kit.
Added "FNMA Page 2 - Subject Property" document to the list of
available docs for stacking and printing. Until stacked, you can find it in the
MORE DOCS popup adjacent to the original page 2. This copy will force the
subject property information to print in the "proposed housing" expenses
section, regardless of whether it is owner occupied or not. Original FNMA
instruction dictate that the proposed column should reflect the borrower's
primary residence expenses, however many underwriters are requiring that the
subject property breakdown be listed in that column instead. Having both
versions available enables you to select which document is best suited for the
company you are sending your loan to.

Added a new Loan Energizer Error Message window for error
reporting, in an attempt to better track down reported errors to get them fixed

Added duplicate check on home phone to lead reception screen.
Also, first and last name now required prior to adding new lead to system.
Altered the programmed behavior of 4 screens in an attempt to
remedy 2 sporadic error messages "cannot access selected table" and "alias gob
not found". Although a user may not have been in those screens when the errors
occurred, they may have been playing a role in the problem. The 4 screens that
have been altered are "Borrower Info", "Employments", "Incomes" and
"Declarations". Please report any incorrect behavior or errors that occur from
usage of these 4 screens. From a user's perspective, they will appear to
function as they always have. The modifications are transparent.

Added requirement for Lead Source in Lead Reception and Lead
Detail screens if the authcode for this feature is turned on for the Quick App
screen. If you need this code, please contact support.
REMOVED (temporarily) the messaging feature that notifies users
that their credit report is back and prompts them for upload actions. The
programming team is currently evaluating this portion of the program to see if
it is related to a series of errors occurring since version 8.20j. While
evaluating this item, it will remain off. The errors we believe it would
generate are "Cannot Access the Selected Table" and "Alias gob not found".
after the problem is resolved, this function will be reinstated.

Removed the [Print] button from the Quick App screen. This
function was originally designed for use when the Quick App was 4 screens long,
and users would completely fill in this section before starting the loan to run
credit. Now, you will need to print the Quick App from Work The Deal. Updated
the COPY ACCESS routine in the User Setup screen to also copy the access levels
for Sub-Statuses.
Added auto-populate for user, region, branch and team in the
Lead Reception screen if the user's type is not "OT" (other). This assumes that
your receptionist will be listed as other, leaving this field blank so the
proper loan officer can be selected. If the user in the screen is not "OT" then
their own user code, region, branch and team will automatically be filled in.

Updated FNMA DU 3.2 export routine to insert the current version
info in segments 00011 and 00070. The current specification from FNMA has typos
on those lines denoting to insert 2.00, however this appears to be incorrect
and the proper data values should reflect that of the export version.
Updated 1008: when using a qualify rate other than the note
rate, the total of payments column would not include the other payments, such
as credit debt. This has been corrected.
Added 1003 Pg 4 Broker Info document to the list of available
system docs. You may stack in your programs to have available without having to
search in the more-docs list when printing.

Added new user security flag for Lead System with ability to
restrict a user to only see their own history notes about a lead, and not those
from other users.
Added new check box to Approval Rate Lock screen, to enable
users to change the rate in Work The Deal after it is locked in the lock
screen. Default is not checked, so rate will remain locked by default for
existing clients who are accustomed to having it locked this way.
Turned back on a safety check in the data update routines to
check for the master table (appmstr) having it's primary data record emptied
out. This is for debugging purposes. If a user contacts your admin team to
state they received an error message stating "Illegal attempt to erase Default
Appmstr record" please contact MSD support for information on what to send us
to help troubleshoot this problem.

Corrected "table buffering" error in Broker Web User screen when
canceling with no users listed.
Made changes to try and correct user's preference of desktop
button style reverting back to basic app.
Corrected issue where Navbar displays empty when first switching
from Full 1003 to Navbar view.
Corrected Broker Selection Popup where it would not allow you to
select Broker if only one is listed.

1/27/06 |
Loan Selection Lookup screen now allows each user to set their
own preference to the order in which the columns are displayed.
Team popup lists are now filtered down to only display teams in
the scope of the user's access. If the user can only see their own loans or
only teams loans, then can only see their own team in list. If they can see
their Branch loans, then only can view teams under that branch. Same for
Regions. Users who can see all loans can continue to see all teams.

dash as second character.

2/2/06 |
Changed the Tickler Alert message to go ahead and close any open
windows, and take you into selected Lead/QuickApp/Loan file immediately when
you click [OPEN] instead of waiting for you to get back to desktop.
New Lead menu option: Open ANY lead. this does not respect
filtering by user access, nor does it account for current user lead may be
assigned to. This is for locating a lost lead, or for alternative usage of the
lead system. Also added option in Lead Detail screen to add a tickler alarm for
given lead.

Custom screen ("Collateral") for client.
Pipeline View of Loans - Lookup screen. This feature has been
changed. Now, it will retain the user's choice of Pipeline vs. Loan Lookup
screen, and return to the pipeline view if that is where the loan was opened
from. Additionally, this screen will reload the most recent settings by user to
"recreate" the way it looked when last used. These settings are stored by user
and will be recalled at log in. The Pipeline screen has also been overhauled to
respect user's access levels (all Loans, Region's Branch or Team's loans, or
Only their own) when displaying lists of Regions, Branches, Teams, and Users.
No user can see list items outside the scope of their access level. Further, if
the Branch a user is assigned to has a "restricted view of Brokers" then the
Broker list will also be limited to only the Brokers that Branch is allowed to
see.
Complex Passwords may now be configured. You may turn on the
Complex passwords feature in Defaults-SystemSetup-GeneralSystemPreferences. If
Enabled, ALL USERS will be required to use passwords which are from 8 to 20
characters and contain at least 3 of 4 varying types of characters (Upper,
Lower, Numbers and Symbols). You may use this solely, or in conjunction with
periodic password timeouts. For systems converting to this new method, users
will be prompted at their next log in to enter their old password and then
create a new complex password to log in.
Added "FNMA Page 5 - R.E." document to the list of available
docs for stacking and printing. Until stacked, you can find it in the MORE DOCS
popup adjacent to the other Page 5 continuation sheets. This Page 5
Continuation to Schedule of Real Estate will print properties 4 and up, noting
that properties 1,2 and 3 are on Page 3 of the application. For a detailed
breakdown of all properties, print the regular "Schedule of Real Estate"
document. It will display ALL properties, and breakdown the Mortgage and
Expenses as usual.
RESPA Kit has been converted over to "Doc Packages". If you have
this feature enabled, you may now build as many rule-based document packages as
you need, allowing the user to simply select a doc package by name without
having to make any logical decisions about which documents to include. For
clients who have previously built RESPA rules using the old system, your rules
will automatically be converted into a Doc Package, and it will be named "RESPA
Package" to make conversions seamless and user friendly.
Corrected bug in Credco High Balance calculation used by A/U
Engine.
