Release Notes for the 8.10 Series

a

The remaining "Defaults" screens which originally were directly ported from our DOS version years ago have been converted to offer 32-Bit user interfaces. What's that mean? Basically it means that you don't have to look at those hard to use blue/green screens in defaults anymore. Our programming team is working diligently to finish converting the Utilities screens as well, so look for those changes in future releases coming up! Also, the A/U Engine's data-extraction routine now checks for unlimited numbers of comments on each Credco tradeline. This is one of the places where CCCS information shows up. Previous releases only reviewed the first comment per tradeline.

b

A/U Max Loan Matrix now includes Base Rate and Margin with the same easy to use grid for determining max loan amounts, rates and margins ALL by Credit Grade, Risk Score and LTV.

c

Modified the Description of the A/U Engine picklist item for Credit Grade - removed the "(ie.. A+,A,A-,B,C,etc.)" from the item name to reduce confusion. Added an override for HMDA Reporting to the HMDA screen inside the Loan Status screen. You may override the A.P.R. if necessary that is being reported with your HMDA data. If left blank, then the calculated APR from Work The Deal will be reported in your data.

d

Added new feature to Utilities Menu: Speed-Thru Upgrade. This will simplify the process of performing upgrades. After you have logged off your Credit Server, and asked all users to close their Energizer sessions, you may go to this screen to have Energizer download the upgrade file and launch it for you. Additionally, it will skip the intro screens in the setup program as it already knows where the database is located and what your intentions are.

e

Added "Initial Payment Term" to ARM Plans. This will enable you to create Adjustment scenarios for the new 40/20 payment plan where the Monthly payment is calculated based on a 40 year term, and then recasts after 10 years based on a 20 year payment to properly pay the loan off in the 30 year term. To utilize this feature, on the Loan Plan screen, enter 30 for Amort Term, 30 for Due in Term, 40 for Initial Pmt Term, and 120 (months) for the Recast point.

f

Enhanced the Loan Selection Lookup to reselect in the list the last loan you were in, to assist in searching through multiple loans for the same borrower. Additions to export for MRN were also completed.

g

Added new custom feature "Retail Application" for client request.

h

Added ability to pull joint or separate credit reports for borrowers on the same application. Loan Selection Lookup screen now offers a SSN lookup option.

i

Corrections for the Retail App screen where it would not allow you to start a new loan when the borrower is a renter.

j

Loan Selection Lookup: Forced sorting of Borrower's name and address to be adjacent to the Loan Status when sorted/searching by Loan Status. Status will lock into column 1, and then be followed by name and address columns. Export to MRN: New fields implemented: Piggyback Application Number (from Status Screen) and Estimated Closing Date (From Closing Doc info screen 1).

k

Loan Selection Lookup: Reset behavior for "Status" sorting, to always restore position to top of list when using this lookup style. When looking up by anything other than Loan Status, the position will be set to the last loan you opened, to assist you in moving through loan blocks. Locked Rate: If you set the Rate Locked date in the Investor Approvals/lock screen, then the interest rate in Work The Deal will be locked from editing by users. You will now need to update/modify the rate only from the rate lock screen.

l

Corrected issue with View/Print credit reports for Chase to not print extra blank pages in the reports. Corrected issue with EnCredit creating 2 report records in the reports list (Credco/Chase) where one would state "No Reports" and the other would properly display the report. Now the system should only list one report.

m

Added new fields to Broker setup screen to list the Assistants for the additional Broker contacts (2 & 3). Reconfigured the FICO score screens to handle scores for all non-primary borrowers as well, instead of only for primary borrower/coborrower pair.

n

Corrected Cash Out calculation in Work the Deal for transactions where the Subordinate Financing value has been entered into Details of Transaction item "J" . Corrected issue with A/U FICO score Mid3Low2 getting value from multiple borrower set records.

o

Application Number formatting may now be altered for more flexibility. You may choose to include or exclude the appnumber prefix and/or year, and even choose whether or not to use the hyphens "-" between each segment. On screen display of actual output while you set the alternate format. VSI Fax now includes cover page notes in the conversation log entries. Switch Borrower and Coborrower data with click of one button. Also, you can flip entire applications (borrower sets) to make the 2nd or 3rd borrower set the primary borrower set on the loan file. Simply click the [Active Borrower Set] button on the loan desktop just above Work the Deal. Loan Selection Lookup screen: bug corrected when you delete a loan it previously left the deleted loan in the list even though the loan was gone. This has been corrected so now when you delete a loan you'll also see the lookup list cleaned up at the same time without having to log out and back in. Added 2 new Decline Reasons to the long list of checkboxes on the decline screen.

p

Added new default item on General System Settings screen to preset the default value of the "Title Will Be Held in What Names" and "How Title Held" field. Simply enter the default value, such as "To Be Determined" and both fields will get this value when new loans are started.

q

Added new feature "Trades" to the system for secondary marketing. Loan-level screen included is under Secondary Mktg/Acctg button on desktop. Modified the Printing Screens by removing the Print Blank button, and replacing it with a check box so you may check that you want blank docs (forms with no data) and then Save as PDF, Email, VSI Fax, PRN, etc. Previously the print blank button would only generate docs with no data for hard printouts, not the ancillary features.

r

Proprietary customizations. Combined one clients feature listing into flag set that can be inherited from region to branch to team to user, and overridden at any level. Paradata Misc Fields: Modified the misc edi field for Paradata branch to get the branch number from Branch setup instead of hard coded values.

s

Corrected Encredit's Chase Credit import from overwriting the mortgage payment with the past due amount. Now it will properly import the mortgage payment under the Chase Interface. Lead Maintenance screen: Added First Name into Last Name column for clarity when sorting. Doc Magic Export: Added more fields (ie. Parcel, TitleNo, Tax Message, etc.) Other Incomes: for the 3 other income description fields on the income screen, you may now enter your own description or pick from a preset list of income descriptions.

t

Retail App updates: Phone number is no longer required to start app; Investor button no longer resets Broker info ; if the borrower "Rents" then the subject property is set to "RENTAL" with no cash flow so it will be ignored in Debt Ratio calculations and Work The Deal will reflect the borrower's RENT in both current and proposed breakdowns. Work The Deal HomeImp Calculator caption now properly reset after closing a "RETAIL" application and reopening a standard loan file.

u

Corrected issue with Broker Defaults screen for proper updating of Assistants 1 & 2. Import DU now forces all State Postal Codes to uppercase. Export to DocMagic: Corrected problem with 801 and 802 percent values being rounded to whole numbers. Now exports fractions.
