Release Notes for the 8.00 Series

a

To remedy an issue with a Microsoft bug pertaining to shared values for our website users, we had to completely rewrite the way we handle printed documents for both loan forms and reports. This first release has all of the programming changes made to it to use the new methodology. The first time you migrate to the 8.x series, you may experience an increase in upgrade time over your normal time. This will only occur once, and thereafter resume to your normal time for upgrades. If you receive warnings about "&gob or @gob..." during the upgrade, please write down the file list or take a screen shot (ALT+PrtScrn) and email that list to programming@gomsd.com .

b

Corrected issue when printing QuickApp for proposed mortgages printing ".F." instead of the real dollar amount. This error pertained to the 8.x printing subsystem and did not occur prior to 8.00a .

c

Changed the Lead system "request more leads" button allows inactive leads to not count against them in their "Max Allowed" counts.

d

Corrected Lead Detail screen blank-out issue where the screen fields would blank out after printing the detail sheet. HMDA Closeout routine now gathers total-net-rental-income when determining the annualized income for reporting. Corrected printing error: you would receive an error if your loan file had exactly 7 debts and child support.

e

Added Default Interest rate for Broker/Dealer to be used when you select that Broker/Dealer in Quickapp or in Loan Contacts. Added sorting for Title and Signing Company pop-ups in the contacts screen.

f

Corrected issue where email address would not transfer from quickapp to full loan file when you start a new loan either internally (Quick-App!) or from the website. Added a new screen for A/U business rules maintenance. This screen is for the If..Then "overrides" and has a style similar to Windows Explorer where you can expand/collapse nested business rules like folders using the [+] and [-] signs in the "tree".

g

Reset the desktop when Tickler Auto-Switch-to-Lead occurs. This is done to prevent the security/access routines from setting your current lead as "READ ONLY" if you were just in a read-only loan file.

h

Added many more A/U Rules "loan items", and more data extraction elements from the credit report to auto-populate these loan values. Added "HouseCredit" to Broker Web settings to allow broker to pull credit using house info (Lender credit account). VSI Fax (custom feature) - added back in the Branch option for dropdown list of recipients.

i

Corrected Report Generator II for Credit Statistics layout, not to duplicate first record when adding additional records to list out all credit reports run for each loan. Added new fields to the website prequal page.

j

Corrected error in VSI fax feature. This error was "field empcity not found".

k

New A/U Rules "loan item" (Total $$ of loan > 80% CLTV)

l

Custom Report Generator II coding for Fee Waivers table.

m

Added new feature to ARM/Loan Plan screen in the qualify rate box: " Qualify at % of Loan/Line amount" for HELOCS. This affects the Qualification rate where you can set it to be a percent of the loan amount, i.e. Monthly Payment= .75% of the Loan Amount instead of an amortized payment being calculated. This new amount is displayed on the Work the Deal screen as well as the printed Quick-App Summary page. This item affects your Debt-to-Income ratios.

n

Added DatatracID to correspondent table for those clients looking to relate records between the 2 databases. Added Cell Phone to the Borrower Info/Addresses screen only. This is for data retention purposes, and has not been added to Quick App data entry screen or website pages yet. Further, it does not currently print out, nor does in export. If you need this item to be added to printouts or exports, please send an email request detailing what you need to programming@gomsd.com .

o

HMDA Closeout routine: Changed to only fill in deny1,2,3 (decline reasons) IF the current loan status is "DECLINED" (HMDA Action 3). Energizer will now use either "Acrobat Distiller" printer driver (from Adobe Acrobat versions 4 & 5) or the "Adobe PDF" printer driver (from Adobe Acrobat 6 & 7). Adobe software must be installed on each computer you wish to have this feature used on. This is not server based, rather locally controlled. So, if the drivers exist on a given computer, then the [Save] and [Email] buttons will be available in the printing screens, otherwise they will be disabled. There are no security items inside Energizer controlling this, it is simply based on the presence of the print drivers.

p

New security item for Lead system users: You can disable QuickApp menu item per user to force them to only start new Quick Apps from lead tracking system by setting the Lead to "Start Quick App".

q

Corrected Legacy Report Generator issues when saving CSV files under the multiple table output format with special delimiters. Most clients will not have been affected by this. Changed the structure of the Other Income Amount for Borrower and Coborrower to now retain the "cents" portion and not just whole dollars.

r

HMDA Closeout: Always use the HMDA Y/N value from the Status screen if entered, regardless of authcode settings. New A/U Engine Math Operator: "Max Lower" which will only overwrite "MAX" setting if new value is lower than current value for given Loan Item under that program. Call for details if you think you would like to use this math operator with A/U.

s

Lead System: user popups are filtered by loan access. Reception screen autofills user code if access is set to only their own loans. QuickApp Screen: Auto-populate Investor/Prog/Loanprog if empty when loading existing application from the lead system.

t

Restored the "Closed Loan Summary" to the Report Generator II. It was left out when the new report generator was originally created. Also corrected variable errors that were caused by version 8.0 doc conversion. Corrected top edge of Title & Signing popups in the Contacts screen so bottom edge isn't below screen.

u

Correct FNMA DU Import to convert Balloon "Due-In" term into years from months. If Balloon term is empty, then use the Loan Term value as "due in" value (i.e. 30 due in 30). HMDA: Added ability to CloseOut "ON HOLD" loan files.

v

Corrected A/U Engine to properly grab loan conditions from Investor Program Defaults. Converted Region defaults to GUI from DOS. Rearranged the entire Defaults Menu to be laid out more along how a new setup/system walkthrough should be performed.

w

Changed FNMA DU import routine to take the greater of the 06A "Real Estate Info" Market value or the 99B "File Info" Appraised Value. Some software packages use the 06A "Market Value" to hold the original purchase price which is typically going to be significantly lower than the current value of the property. Further, changed the import routine to also lump together the institution names and sum all balances for the CASH DEPOSIT HELD BY & AMOUNT info shown on 1003 page 2.

x

Added a hidden tracking item Marketing Source feature for custom request.

y

Corrected "Syntax Error" messages in the FHA Loan Calculator screen. These errors were regarding the labels on screen, and had no affect on loan data.

z

Added Max Loan Matrix feature to A/U Engine, and the import/export routines for A/U. When uploading Debts/Mortgages from Credit Report, Energizer now won't delete any mortgages marked as piggyback = "Y" since they aren't really part of the current credit file. These piggyback mortgages are "proposed" loans that are to close simultaneously with this new loan file at COE and shouldn't be wiped out during data uploads. Added 3rd type of check for CCCS on Credco reports when extracting data for AU engine. Quick-App screen, when called from Lead screen, will now populate the loan officer's name with the logged in user if that user's type is "Loan Officer".
