The
Doc Package module allows you to build an unlimited number of "kits" for users
to choose from.
A Doc Package can be designed to generate a set of documents for any use, such
as initial disclosures or closing document sets for each Investor product
you use.
Users simply click the Doc Package button and then choose which kit to
print. They don't need to scroll through a long list of documents, and
try to remember to pick all of the documents that apply to the loan at
hand. This is the job of the Doc Package they are printing.
How it Works
In Doc Package setup, you can create an unlimited number of "rules" for each
package. Each rule evaluates a set of criteria to see if it should
"run" or be skipped. If the criteria used for the rule don't qualify,
then this rule will be skipped and the next one in the list of rules for this
package will be evaluated.
For Example:
The rule selected above (#2) was named "California 1sts" and you can partially
see the State Filter shows "CA" and the Lien Position filter shows "1" - so
this rule will only "run" when those items are true for the loan the user is
in.
Each Rule includes a handful of "filters" (only some are shown in the screen
shot above). Each rule also includes a list of Documents chosen by you,
to be added to the dynamically built document list of items to be printed for
this Kit.
Using this "logic based" pattern, you can build Document Kits that are
user-proof - meaning that your users simply select which kit they wish to
print, and your rules run behind the scenes to determine which documents need
to be printed for this specific loan file. In this way, you know that ALL
of the documents you want them to be printing are being generated and sent out
for each kit.
No longer will you find out that a user forgot to send
out the ARM Disclosure witht their RESPA disclosures, or find that they forgot
a few ancillary documents when they generated a closing package for
signing.
